Candice King was an American actor from the United States. She rose to the top of Hollywood's ladder following her role as Caroline Forbes, the lead character in The Vampire Diaries. Candice's singing career started before becoming an actress. The album she released her debut, Always the Innocent People in United States, was released in the year 2009. The album was comprised of twelve of fourteen songs she wrote. She also worked to further her acting career by guest-starring in shows like How I Met Your Mother. Although her acting career had been steady, she did not make a breakthrough up until The Vampire Diaries. The show almost immediately made her famous. Candice's acting was highly praised for her excellence. She reprised her role on every season of the series that ran for 171 shows. The Originals (2018) and Legacies (2021) were two spinoffs where she reprised her role.
