Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist who is currently fighting at flyweight of UFC. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina later won a Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a Gold Medal in 2011 and as the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional journey in 2003, won in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. The WMC World Championships were also staged in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thai World Champion. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko kicked off the professional phase of her MMA profession in the year 2002 after the victory over Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She was victorious by TKO at the end of round 2, and went on to win her 2 subsequent fights and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on her kickboxing and made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous verdict and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She quit the club in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Antonina returned to the ring after her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. This fight earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
